Course Description
This course covers the new and enhanced functionalities and workflows
offered in Autodesk® Inventor™ 2008. Students learn how to quickly
take advantage of the productivity enhancements made to the sketch, part,
assembly, and drawing environments, as well as modifications for working
with sheet metal designs. In addition, this course covers the new features
in Autodesk Inventor 2008 to assist AutoCAD users who are transitioning
to Autodesk Inventor,
Hands-on exercises representing real-world, industry-specific design
scenarios are included.

Training Objectives
The primary objective of this course is to teach students how to quickly
take advantage of the new and enhanced functionalities and workflows offered
in Autodesk Inventor 2008.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for experienced Autodesk Inventor users.
Prerequisites
Students should have a thorough understanding of Autodesk Inventor parametric
part design, assembly design, and documentation. It is recommended that
the student have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Windows® XP
or Microsoft® Windows® 2000.
