The Validate Your Inventor program allows Autodesk® Inventor® users on subscription the ability to
download an extended free trial of Autodesk® Algor® Simulation software.
2) Who is this promotion targeted at?
The Validate your Inventor offer is only for Inventor users in the US and Canada who are current on
subscription. This includes all below versions of Inventor:
3) How long does the Algor Simulation extended free trial work once a customer downloads?
After a customer downloads and registers the extended free trial of Algor Simulation, it will run until
October 14th, 2011.
4) What are the end user guidelines for this extended trial?
As stated in the evaluation end user license agreement (EULA), the extended free trial of Autodesk
Algor Simulation is for non-commercial use only and subject to all other guidelines within the
evaluation EULA which downloads with the product.
5) How long will the Validate your Inventor program last?
Inventor users on subscription will have the ability to download the Algor Simulation extended free
trial through October 1st, 2011.
6) How many Algor Simulation extended free trial downloads can an Inventor customer
receive?
Customers can download 1 extended free trial of Algor Simulation for every 1 license of Inventor they
have on subscription.
7) How do Inventor users obtain the free version of Algor Simulation?
Inventor users can download the Algor Simulation extended free trial via subscription center using
the “Algor free trial” promo box link. Once clicked, the customer will need to enter in their user
information, subscription contract number, and reseller of record. We are listed as "US - AMS CAD Solutions". They will then have access to
download the free trial product. Inventor users may also access the free trial at
www.autodesk.com/validateyourinventor.
8) What other Simulation products are of part of this program?
Only Algor Simulation is available as a free extended trial download. Autodesk® Algor® CFD and
Autodesk® Algor® Simulation Professional are not a part of this program.
9) What happens at the end of the Algor Simulation trial?
All Algor Simulation free trial licenses will timeout on Oct 14th, 2011. Continued use of the software
without purchase after that date will not be possible.
10) Can this program be combined with other promotions?
Yes, the Validate Your Inventor program may be combined with other promotions including the It's
Time promotion in Q4.
