Autodesk Inventor Professional is a comprehensive, integrated design solution that combines Autodesk Inventor for 2D / 3D design and documentation, AutoCAD Mechanical for 2D drawing and detailing, and Autodesk Vault for data management. Plus it provides specialized design capabilities to create routed systems with tube and pipe or wire and cable. Its integrated FEA functionality from ANSYS provides part validation, and the IDF import functionality ensures that your PCB assemblies will easily fit in your assemblies. You no longer have to choose between 2D and 3D: Autodesk Inventor Professional gives you the right tool for the job.

This configuration is suggested for large assembly design with 1,000 parts or more.

  • Intel® Pentium® 4, Xeon®, or Athlon™ processor, 1.8 GHz or better processor
  • Microsoft® Windows XP (Professional or Home Edition, SP1) or Windows 2000 Professional (SP3 or later)
  • 1.0 - 3.5 GB RAM
  • 2 GB free disk space for product and content libraries
  • 64+ MB or more OpenGL®-capable workstation-class graphics card

Recommended System Requirements
This configuration is suggested for part and assembly design with fewer than 1,000 parts.

  • Pentium III, Pentium 4, Xeon, or AMD Athlon processor, 1 GHz or higher
  • Windows XP (Professional or Home Edition, SP1) or Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (SP3 or later)
  • 512 MB or more RAM
  • 2 GB free disk space for product and content libraries
  • 64 MB OpenGL-capable graphics card

Autodesk recommends settings that allow Microsoft Windows to manage virtual memory as needed. You should always have at least twice as much free hard disk space as system memory.
