Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2004
Automate your design process with the new high-performance tool built for designing industrial control systems. AutoCAD
Electrical software provides fast control schematics design capabilities, automatic wire numbering and component tagging,
and an intelligent control panel utility to help you work more efficiently and reduce design errors. For drawing sets
with PLC/IO, motor control, or discrete control components, AutoCAD Electrical shortens cycle times, makes engineering
changes faster, and improves design quality. Easy to learn and use, and built on the AutoCAD platform with full DWG
compatibility, AutoCAD Electrical is the best software for faster, more accurate electrical controls design and engineering.

Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical 2004 System Requirements
Minimum Configuration
- Intel Pentium III or AMD Athlon 500MHz or better processor
- 500 MB free disk space
- 128-256 MB RAM
- 8MB OpenGL graphics card capable of 1024x768x16 bit high color
- Windows 2000 (SP1 or later), Windows XP Professional, or Windows XP Home
Recommended Configuration (primarily for detail drafting activities,
moderate use of standard parts and small 2D assemblies (<100 parts)
with moderate use of associative 2D hide)
- Intel Pentium III, Pentium 4, Xeon, or Athlon 1GHz or better processor
- 500 MB free disk space
- 384-512 MB RAM
- 32MB OpenGL graphics card capable of 1280x1024x32 bit true color or greater
- Windows 2000 (SP1 or later), Windows XP Professional, or Windows XP Home
Preferred Configuration (for production level 2D assembly modeling (100’s of parts or greater) with heavy use of
standard parts and associative 2D hide)
- Intel Pentium 4, Xeon, or Athlon, 1.8GHz or better processor
- 500 MB free disk space
- 512MB-1GB or greater RAM
- 64MB+ OpenGL capable workstation class graphics card – 1280x1024x32 bit true color or greater
- Windows 2000 (SP1 or later), Windows XP Professional, or Windows XP Home
Note: Less capable machines (such as that described in the minimum requirements category) can run AutoCAD Electrical
2004, but the results will be less than ideal. The use of additional memory and faster processors will directly improve
performance and capacity.
